MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND SOCIAL POLICY
and
UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

are seeking applications under their joint project "Job Opportunities through Business Support" (JOBS). The JOBS Project is supporting and financing a country-wide network of 42 NGOs (Business Centers) - local providers of business development services and employment promotion support. In order to consolidate and communicate the project's experience over eight years of implementation, the JOBS Project seeks to hire a:

Short-Term International Consultant
to Develop JOBS Project Case Study

The best candidate will be a native speaker with a solid writing/journalistic background, living in Bulgaria and willing to dedicate his/her skills to summarize the experience of a complex, multifaceted project. The international consultant will work with a Bulgarian expert to put together a publication documenting JOBS Project key messages, methodology, achievements and lessons learnt. The assignment will involve extensive desk research, a field trip to JOBS Business Centers and interviews with stakeholders and clients. Timeframe for the assignment: March-May 2009.
